Ceremony of presentation of book 'Kazan, baran i dastarkhan' by Stalik Khankishiyev dedicated to the Azerbaijani cuisine was held in Moscow due to support of 'Baku' magazine.
Head of the Russia Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Editor-in-Chief of 'Baku' magazine Leila Aliyeva, as well Arzu Aliyeva, Feodor Bondarchuk, Yuli and Mikhail Gusmans, Leonid Portnoy, ambassadors accredited to Russia were present in the ceremony.
Devoted by brazier and spit master S.Khankishiyev to the rich cuisine of Azerbaijan, the book basically talks of brazier dishes. Opened with views by the author’s Azerbaijani and foreigner friends on the Azerbaijani cuisine, the book stresses to make a table beautiful and unforgettable every meal should be covered with a special taste and fantasy. The author writes every person possesses skilful hands, unfortunately not everyone takes benefit of them.
According to the author, every dish in the rich cuisine of Azerbaijan has a specific and unique taste, including kebabs made in brazier and cinder. S.Khankishiyev mentioned this is the first volume of the book, and the second one, which will also be dedicated to the Azerbaijani cuisine mainly, will soon be published.
The participants expressed gratitude to Leila Aliyeva for the organization of the event.
Doctor of Medicine Yakov Brand said I have been making friends for a long time with ‘Baku’ magazine and Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The Foundation carries out huge works in Azerbaijan. I am aware of the Foundation’s healthcare and education projects. I am sure there is no other foundation in the world such a serious about the global problems and doing such great works in its country.
Mossovet Theater actor Alexander Lenkov noted in such a cloudy day ‘Baku’ magazine made us happy organizing a wonderful, sunny evening. All events concerning the amazing nation of Azerbaijan are arranged on such a magnificent level.
Popular singer Diana Gurskaya said Mrs Leila Aliyeva is a very nice person, fulfils great works, supports initiatives. Nowadays, there is lack of such persons.
Thus, ceremony of presentation of book 'Kazan, baran i dastarkhan' held due to support of 'Baku' magazine was a necessary step towards promotion of the Azerbaijani cuisine in the world.
