Loving memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev honored in Bucharest

December 13, memorial ceremony was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy to Romania in the Heydar Aliyev Alley in Bucharest due to the sixth anniversary of death of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

The event was attended by representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s Office in Romania, Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Romania-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Board of the Azerbaijan-Romania Culture and Youth Association, SOCAR`s Office in Romania, Turkish-Tatar community, Azerbaijanis living here, mass media.

Attendees laid wreathes and flowers at the bust of the great leader in the Alley.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Romania Eldar Hasanov talked of Heydar Aliyev`s life and his contribution to strengthening Azerbaijan`s independence, building legal, secular and democratic state and establishment of closer Azerbaijan-Romania ties, as well of philanthropic action of the Foundation named after the national leader.

The Ambassador expressed thanks to participants of the ceremony for honoring the blessed memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
