President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva is honoured with "Ulviyyat" Public Award
On June 14, the 4th Congress of Azerbaijani Women under the slogan of “Solidarity for Development” started its work at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.
The Congress was attended by Head of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev, Deputy Prime Minister Elchin Afandiyev, Rector of the M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University’s Baku Branch Nargiz Pashayeva, state and government officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in our country and international organizations, as well as NGO representatives.
A congratulation letter of President Ilham Aliyev to participants of the Congress was read.
Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Woman and Child Issues Hijran Huseynova said Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva was honoured with “Ulviyyat” (Sanctity) Award, based on numerous women organizations’ appeals, for her contribution to the development of women’s movement in our country.
Appeals to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and international organizations, as well as a final resolution will be adopted at the Congress.
