A ceremony of revering the memory of Khojaly tragedy victims took place in Baku

On February 26, President Ilham Aliyev and Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony devoted to the 22nd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

President Ilham Aliyev put a wreath before the monument, expressed his esteem for the memory of the tragedy victims.

Azerbaijan’s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva put flowers before the monument.

The ceremony was attended by state and government representatives, deputies of the Milli Majlis, ministries, heads of committees and companies, heads of religious confessions, as well as residents of Khojaly that could manage to escape this massacre.
