Anar Alakbarov: “Wherever it happens, terror is a crime against the humanity”

“Wherever it happens, terror is a crime against the whole humanity”, said Assistant to the First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov at the official opening of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in the city of Cannes.

A.Alakbarov, recalling the horrible terror act committed in the French city of Niece on July 14, which took the lives of many people, noted that Azerbaijan has been through terrors and, therefore, very well understand the grief and sorrow caused by the death of innocent people. “The Armenian army has been regularly carrying out provocations against the civilians living in frontier territories. 10 days earlier, as a result of a shelling towards the village of Alkhanly, Fuzuli district, a two year-old infant, Zahra Guliyeva, was killed”, - said A.Alakbarov.

According to him, Azerbaijan is a herald of peace and security in the world, with its principal position against any racial, national and religious discrimination. “Our state takes a resolute stand against all manifestations of terror, which has become a terrible evil for the whole world. We believe all nations, mobilizing all their strength, will combat terror, which has been a threat to human security, democratic values, rights and freedoms of citizens, targeting innocent people”, - said A. Alakbarov.
