The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is honoured with the status of a “Strategic partner” by the International Charity Forum
The 4th International Charity Forum, officially recognized by the UN, was held by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development in Shenzhen city of the People’s Republic of China.
Heads and representatives of charity organizations operating in European, American and Asian regions joined the event.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairperson of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Xiaolin thanked the organizations that participated in the event for the first time. Information was given at the Forum about the primary mission of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, as well as the projects implemented within the country and abroad. At the same time, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which participated in the event, was honoured with the status of a “Strategic partner” by the International Charity Forum.
At the meeting between the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and President of the China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development, Secretary-general of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Li Xikui, discussions were held over the perspectives of cooperation between the organizations and holding the 5th Charity Forum in September 2020 in Baku.
