9th Mugham TV Contest comes to an end in Lachyn
The finals of the 9th Mugham TV Contest – held with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Azerbaijani Television – took place in Lachyn city.
At the final phase of the contest, performances of young singers - Rais Niftaliyev, Kenan Novruzov, Narmin Mirzayeva, Ali Rashidli, Ayjan Shukurlu, Yusif Jafarbeyli, Aytaj Beybalayeva, and teenage singers - Ahad Aghayev, Kenan Taghyzadeh, Yusif Mustafayev, Matlab Ahmadzadeh, and Murad Nabizadeh - were listened. The contest was judged by a jury comprised of People’s artists Melekkhanum Eyyubova, Mansum Ibrahimov, Nazaket Teymurova, Sardar Farajov, Vamig Mammadaliyev, and Honoured worker of culture Ilgar Fahmi.
After the jury’s consultations, names of the winners were announced.
Among the teenage performers, Ahad Aghayev was honoured with the 1st place, while Murad Nabizadeh and Kenan Taghyzadeh were awarded the 2nd and 3rd places accordingly.
Among the young performers, Aytaj Beybalayeva was awarded the 1st place, with Narmin Mirzayeva and Rais Niftaliyev being honoured with the 2nd and 3rd places accordingly.
Prizes and diplomas of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation were presented to the winners of the first three places among the teenage and young performers.
Other participants of the contest too were presented diplomas.
Spectators listened to the performance of Honoured Artist Ehtiram Huseynov. Then, “Garabagh Shikastasi” was performed by the winners.
