Events dedicated to the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev held in Bucharest by the initiative of the representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania

Events dedicated to the 88th birthday of national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev were held in Bucharest by the initiative of the Representation of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania, 10 May.

 

The event in the Heydar Aliyev Alley of Park Tei was attended by the Azerbaijanis getting education and living in Romania, delegates of the Representation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Romania, Romania-Azerbaijan Society, Romanian-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, Romania-Azerbaijan Association of Youth and Culture, Democratic Union of Turkish-Muslim Tatars of Romania and Turkish Democratic Union of Romania.

 

The event started by honoring the great leader to the minute of silence.

 

Speakers at the event told about the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev, great leader's hard struggle for independent, sovereign and prosperous Azerbaijan.

 

They stressed the national leader’s special role in strengthening the Azerbaijani-Romanian relations under modern conditions to the level of strategic partnership. Participants also said that the personality and policy of Heydar Aliyev should be evaluated not only inside Azerbaijan, but also regionally and globally.

 

Participants laid wreathes and flowers at the bust of Heydar Aliyev.

 

In the building of Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Representation in Romania, participants of the event familiarized themselves with a photo exhibition dedicated to the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev and watched a documentary about the outstanding statesman.

 

A number of leading press outlets of Romania published articles on the 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
