The Heydar Aliyev Foundation delivers Gurban Holiday presents to low-income families

Following the initiative of First Vice-president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, Gurban Holiday presents were delivered to low-income families.


The project covers all families receiving social aid throughout the republic. To this end, suitable animals were brought from regions, cut at special places designed for this purpose, and packed. Gurban presents are distributed to 51,157 households receiving addressed social aid in regions and districts of Baku, with support from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, congratulating residents on the holiday.


Distribution of holiday presents will continue until August 23.


Supporting state programmes aiming at social and economic advancement, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has always given much attention to low-income families, those in need of special care, and celebrated various holidays and significant days together with them. Moreover, in 2016-2018, all families receiving social aid in the republic were distributed presents from the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, holiday tables were laid for thousands of people in need of social aid, and presents given.
