The 1st Forum of Azerbaijani Children to be held in Baku

 The 1st Forum of Azerbaijani Children will be held in Baku on December 17-18 on the results of 2009 – Year of Children

Organized by the Azeri Government, Heydar Aliyev Foundation and NUR Children and Youth Public Union, the Forum will be the greatest event in the country dedicated to children’s affair, emphasizing necessity and importance of 2009 – Year of Children, reviewing best experiences in field of children’s protection and development, analyzing problems, identifying the necessary measures. 

250 children from Azerbaijan’s 56 districts ad cities will have opportunity to express desires, suggestions and initiatives in the Forum.

Declaration will be adopted in the end of the event.

Opening ceremony of the Forum will take place December 17 at “Rotunda” Hall of “Landmark” Hotel, the closing ceremony at the Azerbaijan State Young Spectators Theater December 18.

December 16, delegates of the Forum will visit the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev and Martyrs Alley.
