The Heydar Aliyev Foundation presents: Art Weekend Festival
Preparations started in Baku for an art festival with the organizational support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
An interesting and unusual weekend is waiting for art lovers in the course of the period from 31 October to 2 November.
The project “Fly to Baku. Art Weekend. Sense the Future NOW” will cover Baku with the wave of creativity, senses, and energy on the weekend.
Water was chosen as the main element for the Art Weekend, and it will occupy its place at the centre of the project from the philosophical, artistic and ecological standpoints. And this is not a coincidence. So, water is both creative metaphors, a mirror of change, and a symbol of a bridge between human and nature.
At the Art Weekend, which will bring together, along with Azerbaijan, renowned artists, curators and persons of art from other countries, creative people will get together in Baku to study water as a theme and force permeating every type of creativity.
Presentations, interactive installations too will be displayed at the event, which is going to get to the top of the traditional form of exhibition. Visitors will become acquainted with amazing paintings beating with senses, sculptures awakening human’s spirit, and beautiful examples related to other areas of art.
During the Art Weekend, the spirits of art and transformation will unite at various sites of art of Baku – galleries, theatres, exhibition halls, and exhibitions in the open air.
“Sense the Future NOW” is not just an ordinary art event, it also is an invitation to discovering himself by plunging into the depth of human senses for a new vision of the world.
