President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva visits Hazrati Zeynab Mosque in Ganca

Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, visited Hazrati Zeynab Mosque in Ganca on October 31, in frame of the visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the western districts of the republic.

This holy sanctuary has been reconstructed by initiative of President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva. Confessor of Caucasian Muslims Department for western region, Hajji Tahir thanked Mrs Aliyeva for this charity. He wished happiness and health from God for the President of the republic and his spouse for the attention to the repair and restoration of historical monuments and sanctuaries in Ganca, said such philanthropic actions will be awarded by God.

Mrs Aliyeva was presented Koran.
