Heydar Aliyev Foundation published ‘Gabusname’ in Russian


Heydar Aliyev Foundation has published ‘Gabusname’, the popular book in a number of Eastern countries, in Russian.


Dedicated to the important aspects of upbringing and ethics the book is rich of wise advices. Written in 1082-1083 by Keykavus, head of the state of Gilan in South Azerbaijan, ‘Gabusname’ was a handbook in Middle Ages for rulers, figures of religion and science. The book, which was preserved in the family of every educated and cultural person as the source of morals and textbook of ethics, played significant role in training of the youth.


‘Gabusname’ gives an idea of the East and culture, history and philosophy of Azerbaijan. Presented with color illustrations the book has been published with 1000 editions.
