Republican art exhibition "Children and War"
Republican art exhibition "Children and War" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide took place in February, 2012. More than 1200 art works were presented to the exhibition jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Education.
Held following the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s Vice President Leyla Aliyeva, the exhibition aimed to inform the youth about the Khojaly genocide – one of the biggest and most tragic genocide in Azerbaijan and in the world , honour our martyrs perished for the protection of our lands and to increase the feelings of patriotism and love for the Homeland among schoolchildren.
