A ceremony of awarding Vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva the price “For services to the Astrakhan region” was held at the State Philharmonic of Astrakhan, September 12. At the ceremony, Governor of the Astrakhan Region Alexander Jilkin noted that the Caspian Sea connects people of Astrakhan and Azerbaijan, and our goal is to protect the environment covering all of us.

A ceremony of laying the foundation of a monument  to saint Prince Vladimir before his temple was held in Astrakhan, September 12. Vice-president of the  Heydar Aliyev Foundation attended the ceremony. First, sacred water was splashed on the place, where a monument to Prince Vladimir would be erected. Then the capsule was lowered to the foundation of the monument.
